Members of the Tarlow Breed Hart & Rodgers Estate Planning and Administration Practice Group attended the 52nd Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, which was held during the week of January 22nd at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Organized by the University of Miami School of Law, the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning is the largest nationwide conference for estate planning professionals. Its faculty of leading experts explored today’s most important tax and non-tax planning issues, including the planning implications of enacted and anticipated legislation.

TBHR attendees benefited from programs covering a wide range of advanced level planning topics, including closely-held business planning, planning with trusts and international estate planning. TBHR was represented by Ed Tarlow, Jeff Hart, Melissa Sydney, Karen McKenna and Dara Lynn Freytag.

Throughout the coming months, the Estate Planning and Administration Practice Group will post additional information on topics of interest discussed at the 52nd Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning.
