Robert Kerwin and John Finnegan address the issues of "Cloud Computing" at the Massachusetts Bar Association's recent 8th Annual In House Counsel Program

BOSTON, MASS. - Robert Kerwin and John Finnegan recently participated at the MBA's 8th Annual In House Counsel Program, contributing their article "Cloud Computing: Do the Risks Outweigh the Rewards?"  This article speaks to business and legal issues associated with the evolving technologies of "cloud" computing, and was included in the MBA’s presentation and educational materials.

The theme of this year's MBA In-House Counsel Conference was "Doing Business in the Electronic Age" and focused on the special legal challenges that confront in-house counsel as a result of new electronic communication methods and recordkeeping requirements, including, confidentiality, IP preservation concerns, special and related litigation issues, data management, record retention; privacy and privacy breaches, protection of trade secrets, and legal issues presented by the use of on-line social networks and cloud computing.
