Michael works extensively with clients in their corporate, distribution, real estate, finance and intellectual property matters. Some of those areas are:
Corporate / Finance. Michael's expertise includes financing, joint venture, franchise and distribution. His work is driven by an appreciation of the operational and branding aspects of the client and industry, and the financial impact of every transaction.
Real Estate / Distribution. Michael works extensively with acquisition, development, financing, leasing, exchanges and dispositions. In the franchising arena, Michael represents franchisors, franchisees and franchise groups (such as co-ops) on a full range of issues.
Intellectual Property. Michael helps clients develop and manage their intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, patents and trade secrets. Michael has counseled extensively on matters involving covenants not to compete.
