The Boston law firm of Tarlow, Breed, Hart & Rodgers, P.C. is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the first Massachusetts Family Business Awards Program.

This event has been developed through a cooperative effort of two non-profit organizations - Northeastern University Center for Family Business and the Family Firm Institute New England Chapter – to honor family businesses. These two organizations serve different marketplaces yet share the common goals of professional education and development and public awareness. The Awards Program is to endorse and support the achievements of Massachusetts-based family owned companies and to recognize them for their dedication,community support and excellence in business.

Edward Tarlow, a founding shareholder of Tarlow, Breed, Hart & Rodgers, P.C. and a founding member and President of the Family Firm Institute New England Chapter, is on the Organizing Committee for the Event. Mr. Tarlow says, "Family businesses are the backbone of our economy and this program is a great way to honor their contributions to the Commonwealth." Mr. Tarlow was recently interviewed by M&A Today on the topic of family businesses and was profiled last year in the Boston Business Journal.
